Blackberry Crisp is one of those desserts that just screams “WASHINGTON” to me. It is so delicious, and super easy to make too. You can use any kind of berries for this that you happen to have on hand.

Ingredients

16 cups blackberries - you need enough to fill a 10x13 pan frozen (If using fresh, pop them in the freezer for about 30 minutes!)

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Topping:

2 cups oatmeal

1 cup flour

1 cup butter cold and cut into chunks

1.5 cups brown sugar
