A Day of Eating (Detox Style)
Trust us, we know… it’s hard to maintain healthy eating habits during the holidays. REALLY hard. Your constantly being tested and bombarded with sugary desserts and drinks and all will power goes out the door. After a while you’re fighting a losing battle and you just GIVE IN. And it’s OK! The holidays are meant to indulge, enjoy, #treatyoself!
But now it may be time to think of some ways to rid yourself of sugar cravings and the beating your body took over the past few weeks. Detoxing is one option but it doesn’t have to be complicated or restricting. Here is a day of eating (detox style) to help get you back on track.
Get Your System Flowing
Start the day off with system cleansing detox water. Detox waters have become really popular lately, and that’s because they work. Not only do they help rid your body of toxins they are also super hydrating. This one has just the right amount of sweetness strawberries and detoxifying lemon to help flush your body of unwanted substances. Say bye bye to that sugar high!

After your liquid cleanse you’ll want to fill your belly with a nutrient dense smoothie bowl. Smoothie bowls are a health trend we see sticking around for a while. We LOVE smoothie bowls because you can pack all of your fruit, nuts, veggies, and seeds into one meal. Also they are SO delicious and energizing. This one is made with detoxifying spinach and antioxidant rich berries–yum!
