BBQ Pizza

bbq pizza

We made BBQ pizza today.

Me and my BBQ pizza making alter ego.  Don’t look at me, it wasn’t my idea…

Just because something looks ugly doesn’t mean it tastes ugly, right?  Because this is a hot mess pizza.  I mean you have to ask yourself “what the hell happened?”.  And honestly I couldn’t tell you what happened.  The BBQ pizza expert was in the kitchen making her best pizza ever, and I was… well taking a bathroom break.  I saw none of it.  I got to eat it though and wow… looks can be deceiving.

veggie pizza

It was delicious!  Have you ever been to California pizza and had their BBQ pizza?  This was only… five times better, just not as pretty 🙂

This is also a meatless pizza, but with the portobello mushrooms, pineapple, and spinach who needs meat!  She had some issues with the dough though (my BBQ pizza making alter ego).  She tried to toss and flip it just like they do in the pizza shop, but she just couldn’t figure it out.  Also she bought the dough from Whole Foods Market to avoid making her own.  If you like Whole Foods pizza, try using their dough to save time.  Despite the unforeseen challenges, I think she may have made her best pizza ever.

I hope you enjoy my BBQ pizza recipe!
